Q: What makes the Align Pillow so unique?
A: While other brands only offer one-size-fits-all pillows, the Align Pillow is available in a range of size and density options to ensure you get the best fit and best nights sleep. You can use our Made-To-Fit sizing system to find the right pillow for you.
Q: What are Align Pillows made of?
A: Our pillows are made of natural latex foam, we protect them with a thin & breathable natural cotton cover as well as a removable Tencel™ outer cover. We strive to provide all natural materials for your health & comfort as well as looking after our planet.
Q: What's the difference between Natural Latex and Memory Foam?
A: Natural latex, as the name suggests - is a naturally occurring material, harvested from the Hevea Brasiliensis tree throughout South East Asia. Whereas memory foam is a chemically derived product made from polyurethane, which is often traced back to petroleum oil/fossil fuels. Natural latex is naturally breathable, antimicrobial, anti-fungal & hypoallergenic without the need for any added treatment. Memory foam often requires additional chemical treatments or ingredients such as "cooling gel" to match the natural characteristics of natural latex. Both natural latex and memory foam provide great support and comfort for sleep but we would much rather use the healthy option!
Q: Should I use the high side or low side of my pillow?
A: We designed the Align Pillow for you to use the high side contour for the best results. Other brands market their pillows saying you can use the high or low side but that's just because they don't have size options like we do! We found that using the low side would often compromise your neck posture with the higher end lifting the head slightly.
Q: What does Made-To-Fit mean?
A: Made-To-Fit is our sizing system that provides you with a tailor-like fit to your pillow. Through countless hours or research and clinical testing we created a unique size range design that provided compatibility with over 90% of test subjects. Think of it like buying a t-shirt, you don't pick up any t-shirt and hope that it will fit - you choose the right size for your body.
Q: How often should I change my pillow?
A: The Align Pillow is durable and should last 2-4 years depending on your usage and care. Sleep health experts recommend changing your pillow every 2 years for hygiene purposes.
Q: How do I know if my current pillow is bad for me?
A: Sleep should be a restorative time for the body. If you are waking up with neck pain or stiffness, or if you toss and turn throughout the night trying to find a comfortable position - it could be because your pillow is not right for you. If that sounds like you, you may want to consider upgrading to an Align Pillow today.
Q: I have a neck injury, will the Align Pillow be suitable for me?
A: The Align Pillow was designed by a chiropractor to help their patients with neck pain and their sleep. The Align Pillow should provide you with the best support and comfort whether you are injured or healthy. During our research we found that "bad necks like bad pillows" and often those with neck injuries/conditions benefited from treatment to coincide with their change to a more supportive pillow so they could break the cycle of bad pillows and bad posture.
Q: I tried a contoured pillow before, it didn't work for me. Will the Align Pillow be better?
A: Not all pillows are created equal! There are many factors to consider such as materials, size, height, density, contour angles, etc. We obsessed over these details and provided the best materials, anatomically supportive contours, and a range of size and density options to match as many peoples needs as possible.
Q: Can I use my normal sheet set pillow covers with the Align Pillow?
A: Yes! The Align Pillow is 40cm by 60cm and fits normal sized pillow cases.
Q: How do I best care for my Align Pillow?
A: Due to the robust and hygienic characteristics of natural latex, your pillow shouldn't need too much care. Simply remove and wash the Tencel™ cover as needed. Use this time to air out your pillow - avoid direct sunlight as UV can be damaging to natural latex. If required, spot cleaning with a mild detergent and water for the latex foam if necessary. Keep in mind natural latex will take some time to dry. Further care instructions can be found on the tag inside the pillow cover.
Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Not at the moment but we are looking to expand soon and help people around the world achieve better sleep. For now we are Singapore based and only ship within Singapore.
